Holiday Wish List Header

This holiday season, give a gift to your favorite museum! Here at the Chicago Academy of Sciences / Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, our staff and animals have a few things on their wishlists…

  • Rice Paper Butterfly

    Butterfly Snack Supporter - $10

Butterflies like special treats around the holidays, just like you. Except they prefer black bananas and overripe pears. Yummy? Provide treats in the haven with a gift of $10.

    • Museum Grounds

      Prairie Plant Patron - $20

Keep native pollinators in the neighborhood with new prairie plants. $20 buys live plants to keep the Nature Museum grounds in good shape for our pollinator friends.

  • Blanding's Turtle

    Turtle Warmer - $30

All reptiles like to bask in the sun—or under special heat lamps. With a gift of $30, you can provide a little sunshine for our turtles and snakes this winter.

    Help Keep our Turtles Toasty

  • C3 Leaders

    Sustainability Superhero - $50

The Chicago Conservation Corps trains volunteers to work in every ward of the city. Help provide a scholarship to a new volunteer with a gift of $50.

  • Scientist in the field

    Citizen Science Sponsor - $100

Support a training program for one of our citizen science initiatives, like the Illinois Butterfly Monitoring Network or the Calling Frog Survey. $100 gets our scientists out in the community to train new volunteers.
