May 15 | 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm$65
Join scientific illustrator Alex Boersma for an afternoon of drawing nature!
This workshop will explore using pen and ink to render botanical subjects, using pressed plant specimens from the museum’s collections for reference. The focus will be on increasing participant knowledge about botany, observation of and appreciation for plants, and the skills needed to render plants beautifully, and realistically and scientifically. And, of course, having fun and meeting other plant lovers!
This workshop will be held virtually via Zoom. You will receive a Zoom link via email prior to event.
