Know Before You Go! The Nature Museum building will be closed Friday, May 5, for our annual fundraiser—the Butterfly Ball. We will reopen and resume our regular hours on Saturday, May 6.

For over 165 years, the Chicago Academy of Sciences / Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum has served a unique role in the city of Chicago connecting people of all ages to nature and science through immersive exhibits, fun family events, important conservation research and in-depth education programs, inspiring the wonder in all of us.
