In this talk, which coincides with the launch of his new book, A Primer on Human Impacts on the Environment: The Conceptual Approach, environmental scientist and author Liam Heneghan will show that many of the same conceptual tools used for investigating the biosphere can be adapted and applied to determining the fate of humanity in a rapidly changing world.

Liam Heneghan, PhD, is Professor of Environmental Science and Studies at DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois, USA. His research is focused on invasive species and the efficacy of ecological restoration.

Doors will open at 6:00pm, guests will have an opportunity to purchase Liam’s book, A Primer on Human Impacts on the Environment: The Conceptual Approach. There will be alcohol and other refreshments for sale as well as a complimentary light snack. The lecture will begin at 6:30pm and end with a Q&A from the audience. After the event Liam Heneghan will be available to sign autographs.
