The Nature of Cities Festival: Applying lessons learned to post-COVID urban environmental education programming

February 25 | 8:30 am - 9:30 am

The past year has forced a dramatic shift in the design and delivery of environmental and nature-based education programs. This session will examine successes and failures that have emerged from this shift. Session participants will consider how lessons learned can be applied to educational programming, both short- and long-term.

This program is a part of the Nature of Cities virtual festival, featuring five days of virtual events and conversation about the nature of cities. The festival theme “Better cities for nature and all people” explores and celebrates the environmental justice aspects of green city building. How do we achieve cities that are better for nature and all people? Join us to build cities that are more resilient, sustainable, livable, and just for everyone.
