Wings and Talons: A Night in the Life of a Raptor

Have you ever wondered what it’s like to be an owl? What would it be like to see in the dark? Dive into the secrets of feathers and the wonders of night vision with some very special animal ambassadors.

Join our unique friends at Wings and Talons for a special look at how the incredible adaptations and features of owls and other birds of prey make them the ultimate hunters and imagine what night is like in the life of a raptor.

Suitable for all ages. Children under 3 are free for the raptor show. Please check-in at the front desk when you arrive at the museum. Non-member tickets include admission to the museum!

This event will be in-person, please know before you go:

  • All guests over the age of 2 must wear a face mask that fully covers the nose and mouth with no vents or openings unless medically unable.
  • Guests must practice social distancing at all times, keeping six feet between your party and others when possible.
  • Guests should abide by the City of Chicago travel advisory if they have recently traveled to another state.
  • If you feel unwell, are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, or have been exposed to or come into close contact with a confirmed [or suspected] case of COVID-19, please stay home and email programs@naturemuseum.org to receive a refund for the event.
