Nature Nuts: Fall Edition (Ages 3-4)
Mondays, beginning October 7
10am to 11am

Snakes, bats, beetles, and frogs⁠—oh my! Learn how these animals disguise themselves in our camouflage-themed autumn session. There will be fun indoor and outdoor hands-on activities including stories, crafts, games, and live animal interactions.

This is a four-week course, with the option to purchase single classes. Classes take place every Monday, 10-11am, from October 7-October 28. Class dates are October 7, October 14, October 21, and October 28.

Meet Your Instructors

  • Rebecca Nakaba and Jola Dohrmann

    Rebecca Nakaba (left) and Jola Dohrmann (right) are excited to welcome you and your child to Nature Nuts! Rebecca has a background teaching hands-on science classes to kids, and loves integrating storytelling and art into learning about nature. Jola is an early childhood educator with a focus on language and literacy development.

    Together, they'll lead you and your child through fun crafts, stories, and playtime all designed to introduce your toddler to nature and science while building foundational skills and having fun. Caregivers will leave with takeaways to help continue making connections even after class is over.

Pricing & Registration Information

Cost: $50/member caregiver and child 4-week series*, $70/non-member caregiver and child 4-week series, $12.50/member single class, $17.50/non-member single class

*This program is for children age 3-4 and their adult caregivers. Caregivers must remain with the child attending the class. You are welcome to bring children under 12 months to an older sibling's class at no additional fee.
