For many of us, recycling is equal parts affirming and confusing: we want to make sure we aren't throwing too much into landfills, but what can and cannot be recycled seems so specific. Why?

Join our virtual Explorers Event with C3 and representatives from the Recycling and Materials Management department of Chicago Streets and Sanitation to dispel some of the mystery, learn how recycling in our city works, and discover tools the recycling team has created to make everything easier! The data that Streets and Sanitation has gathered to make our recycling system better, more efficient, and, importantly, easier to understand, is deeply fascinating! Don't miss the chance to hop in a Zoom room with us and learn all about it.

Even though attendance is virtual, please RSVP by reserving a ticket! Everyone who has RSVP'd will receive the Zoom room access link the week of our event

This workshop is a part of the Chicago Conservation Corps (C3) program. Through C3, the Nature Museum provides training, funding, workshops, and volunteer opportunities that remove barriers to sustainability action for individuals and communities. By attending a C3 event, you become a C3 Explorer with access to volunteer days, workshops, and other involvement opportunities.
