C3 Repair and Care Circle

C3 is hosting a circle to repair and care for beloved items! Whether or not you feel like an expert, if you have things to fix, bring them with you and work on them with others.

A few details to help prepare:

We will have some resident experts to help with some repairs. These experts will be focusing on Sewing, Darning, Leather-Care (e.g. conditioning), and basic bike care.
If you have a repair skill or expertise you want to share, bring yourself and some projects along! 
No matter your skill level, join us! Some snacks and materials provided!
Any participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

This workshop is a part of the Chicago Conservation Corps (C3) program. Through C3, the Nature Museum provides training, funding, workshops, and volunteer opportunities that remove barriers to sustainability action for individuals and communities. By attending a C3 event, you become a C3 Explorer with access to volunteer days, workshops, and other involvement opportunities.
