Calling all crafty kids and nature lovers!
Bring your family to the Nature Museum to join Lindsay Olson, the artist featured in our art gallery titled "The Language of Water: Art, Ecology, and Engineering", for a one-of-a-kind nature-inspired craft workshop!
Participants will begin by briefly exploring North Pond right outside the Museum, and being inspired by the beautiful flowers blooming all around it. They'll then head inside where they'll craft a felt flower guided by Lindsay. Younger guests will be able to glue their flower to a felt background, while older guests ready for something more advanced will learn some stitching techniques to decorate and secure their flower!
The finished craft will be 5"x7"
Tickets are limited!
This event is designed for families to enjoy together! Guests under 12 years old must register with an adult. Family and Family+ members receive discounted pricing for this workshop. Tickets include the workshop as well as general admission to the museum and all its exhibits, including our brand new interactive exhibit “By a Thread: Nature's Resilience”!
