In the imaginative world of Bug Squad, insects don’t just have super abilities, they are real superheroes! Young visitors can join the swarm, learn about each Bug Squad member, and try out their super abilities in this interactive play space.
Access to this exhibit is included with Museum admission.
Stop by each station to try out these insect skills for yourself! Take a twirl on the Chrysalis Spinner, take flight as a pilot in the Drone Cockpit, leap like a grasshopper in at the Giant Jumps station, light your way through the Lumineers Lair, and so much more!
Bug Squad creates excitement about learning by immersing children in an world inspired by fictitious superheroes and factual science. Families can meet the special squad through talking animatronics, explore their abilities through special interactive experiences and play-based STEM activities, and learn about real-life bug abilities and traits. Families will spend the day playing and exploring and leave with a greater love for science and an appreciation for biodiversity.
