Join us for an evening of wonder in celebration of nature and science—the 23rd Annual Butterfly Ball—THIS YEAR VIRTUAL!
How long has it been since you took some time to wonder, to imagine, to investigate, to explore? At the Nature Museum, everything we do is inspired by a sense of wonder and fascination with nature and science, and we see this wonder come to life every day.
We see it as a child’s eyes light up with joy watching butterflies take flight for the first time,
As families make lasting, meaningful memories while sharing appreciation for the natural world,
And as sparks of imagination are lit for the next generation’s future scientists, doctors, researchers, and stewards.
The Butterfly Ball celebrates all these moments of wonder. Over the last 22 years, Butterfly Ball has raised $37 million in support of the Chicago Academy of Sciences / Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum. This support enables the Nature Museum to make a tremendous impact on the community as we build educational experiences for Chicago’s children that will reverberate for generations to come.
Register to join us May 7 for the Butterfly Ball, supporting science education and conservation at the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum. There is no fee to register.
