Following guidance from the CDC, we have decided to cancel this year’s Butterfly Ball, scheduled for May 1. Click here for full details and a statement from president and CEO Deb Lahey.
The Butterfly Ball is the Chicago Academy of Sciences / Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum’s major source of funding – having raised over $35 million in the last 21 years. This year’s fundraising goal of $2.1 million is more important than ever, as the Museum is closed and all on-site programming is at a standstill, until April 13 at least, and probably more.
In this time of change and challenge, you can still support the Nature Museum:
- To make a gift via a debit or credit card, or to pledge a gift and be billed at a later date, please click the “Make a Gift” button below.
- To let us know you will send a personal check and/or a gift from your donor-advised fund, or to request information on making a gift of stock, please click the “Make a DAF or Stock Gift” button below.
Your continued support of the Nature Museum is appreciated.
In the coming months stay tuned for details on how we will celebrate the Nature Museum community and to recognize our honorees:
