Sustainable Holiday Makers' Market Application
On November 29, 2025, the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum will be kicking off the Winter Holiday season by holding a Sustainable Holiday Makers’ Market.
From fast fashion and excessive packaging creating waste, to the fuel consumption of delivery trucks from online retailers and even driving from boutique store to boutique store, the holidays cause a spike in negative environmental impacts. We would like to offer our guests an opportunity to lessen these impacts.
The Sustainable Holiday Makers’ Market will take place 10:00am-2:00pm while the museum is open, and be accessible to all museum guests. We will also be offering food from local food vendors.
If you are interested in having a booth at the event, your products must:
Be from a business that is local to the Chicagoland area.
Be handmade.
Be made of natural, upcycled, and/or recycled materials.
Be sustainably sourced.
Use minimal packaging or the packaging must be fully recyclable or biodegradable.
We can not sell plants, seeds, or other living biological matter.
If you are interested in vending at this event, please fill out the embedded form below.
We ask that all vendor applications be submitted by Monday, November 3, 2025.
